PROJECT Brief

Viah Beauty set out to redefine luxury skincare through personalization, focusing on individuality and self-care. The project aimed to create a cohesive brand identity, packaging, and consumer experience that reflected its commitment to quality and transparency, from ethically sourced ingredients from around the world to empowering informed, confident consumers.

Approach

My team and I built the narrative “Everything starts with you,” positioning Viah as a trusted partner in personalized skincare. We designed a sleek, luxurious visual identity with gemstone-inspired graphics and creating a consistent and tactile consumer experience. Through strategic storytelling and thoughtful design, we highlighted Viah’s advanced formulations and ethical practices, helping it stand out in a competitive market.

METHODOLOGY

1. Research & Strategy Development
Conducted in-depth research into consumer needs, market trends, and sustainable skincare practices. Developed a strategy to position Viah as a personalized skincare brand that combines luxury with ethical practices.

2. Visual Identity Creation
Designed a sleek and modern visual identity inspired by gemstone graphics and gradients to symbolize luxury and personalization. Selected an eco-conscious color palette and typography to create a cohesive and elegant look. Developed identity after several rounds of client feedbacks and iterations.

3. Packaging Design & Experience
Crafted packaging that balances aesthetics and functionality, incorporating a clean design. Created an engaging unboxing experience with personalized thank-you notes and messaging to strengthen the emotional connection with consumers.

4. Brand Communication
Developed a storytelling approach that emphasizes Viah’s advanced formulations, sustainable practices, and consumer-first philosophy, ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints.

The Viah Beauty logo exudes timeless elegance and sophistication, with its sleek typography and sharp edges inspired by the facets of a gemstone. The regal blue palette enhances the brand's luxurious appeal, evoking trust, calmness, and exclusivity. The subtle upward slope in the logo symbolizes an ascent to better skincare, reflecting the brand’s mission to elevate self-care through thoughtful, high-quality solutions. PACKAGING DESIGN

Our graphics draw inspiration from the intricate facets and cuts of gemstones, capturing the play of light and color as it reflects and refracts through their surfaces. These illustrations highlight Viah’s refined products and ensure a seamless transition between the brand’s identity and packaging colors, reinforcing sophistication and quality.Symbolizing charm, luxury, and prestige, gemstones serve as a status symbol, aligning seamlessly with the brand’s promise of refinement and quality.
